Set up Close Assistant

Close Assistant helps you manage standard period-close tasks for core applications by providing an overview of activity in one place. You can glance at the Close Assistant panel in Sage Copilot to see which applications are closed and which tasks require attention.

Subscription	Sage Intacct Close Automation
Regional availability	All regions
User type	Business user with admin privileges
Permissions	Administration: Application subscriptions: List, View, Subscribe, Configure Users: List, View, Edit, Permissions
Dependencies	You must turn on enhanced lists to use some Close Assistant features.

Subscribe to Copilot Close Assistant

Go to Company > Admin > Subscriptions and select the toggle to subscribe to Sage Intacct Close Automation.
Select Configure.
Select Enable Close Assistant.
Select Save.

Assign permissions

On the Sage Intacct Close Automation permissions page, find Close Assistant, and select Run.

Ask users to refresh their browser after you've assigned permissions to them. It can take a few minutes before Close Assistant appears in the Copilot panel.
