Turn on depreciation summarization—Fixed Assets Management

Summarizing depreciation reduces General Ledger volume by combining depreciation postings from multiple assets into fewer journal entries. This makes depreciation activity easier to review and reconcile.

You can turn this setting on or off at any time. Changes apply only to future depreciation postings.

  • Application subscriptions: Configure
  1. Go to Fixed Assets Management > Setup > Configuration.
  2. Select Edit.

  3. In the Depreciation settings section, select Summarize depreciation entries.

  4. Select Save.
