Enhancements in Sage Human Capital Management
Sage Human Capital Management (HCM) introduces enhancements for scheduling, time and attendance, recruiting, and human resources. These features provide HR teams and managers a single platform to manage their workforce from hire to retire.
Shift swapping with unscheduled employees
Employees can now include unscheduled colleagues when requesting a shift swap. The shift swap window includes a new option to display employees who are not scheduled during the selected shift. Only employees who meet the shift requirements and do not have approved time off during that period appear in the list.
Approval notifications identify the receiving employee as unscheduled, and the standard shift swap workflow applies. Employees can also recall their own pending shift swap requests directly from the shift details.
For more information, go to Shift Management.
Notes on horizontal timesheets
Employees can now add notes to individual time entries on horizontal timesheets. Each note is tied to a specific day and entry so that different notes can be recorded for each day on the same project line. A note icon appears on each time entry when notes are enabled for the timesheet layout, and the icon changes color when a note is present.
Notes on vertical timesheets are also improved. The small fixed text box is replaced with a pop-up that provides a larger, scrollable writing area. Notes are not carried over when copying a prior timesheet period.
For more information, go to Self Service — My Timesheets.
Total score for candidates
Recruiters and hiring managers can now view a candidate's total assessment score in the candidates grid. The new Total Score column shows the points that a candidate earned out of the total possible score, providing a clearer view of overall performance across assessment questions.
For more information, go to Recruiting — Job Candidates.
Transfer and add employees between employers in bulk
HR teams can now transfer or add employees to a different employer in bulk instead of processing each employee individually. From the employees list, HR can select a group of employees and move them to another legal entity in a single action. Positions are matched automatically between employers, benefits carry over when plans match, and reporting relationships in the organization chart are updated to the new employee records.
Employees who cannot be transferred, such as those without a matching position, are reported individually with the reason, and the results can be exported for review. For organizations with employees working across multiple legal entities, this reduces a series of individual transfers to a single operation.
